Overview

Syntrex explores a parental management experience for iPhone that gives parents useful context and control while keeping the child-facing experience understandable. The concept is grounded in the category, but the product direction is still being shaped.

The goal

Parental-control products sit inside a sensitive relationship. The product has to balance safety, visibility, autonomy, and trust rather than reducing the experience to a set of blunt restrictions.

What I worked on

  • iOS architecture
  • SwiftUI
  • Child / parent flows
  • Device-management concepts
  • Parental-control experiences
  • Account architecture
  • UI/UX
  • Backend planning

Technical approach

Build the system,
then the feeling.

The early work maps the parent and child sides as related but distinct experiences. That makes it possible to explore permissions, device context, and account relationships without pretending the final product decisions are already settled.

Current status

Syntrex is presented as a concept and planning project, not as a shipped product.

What I’m learning

Still in motion.

The concept has reinforced how much product clarity matters in safety software. A useful system needs strong technical foundations, but it also needs language and interaction patterns that reduce anxiety for everyone using it.
