About me
Hey, I’m Dani.
I’m a developer who mainly works on apps, websites, backend systems, and pretty much anything involving tech.
The longer version
Built by making.
I’ve always been the type of person that likes figuring out how things work, then finding ways to make them better. A lot of what I know came from just building things, breaking things, fixing them, and learning as I went.
Most of my work is around iOS development, web development, backend architecture, Cloudflare, APIs, databases, UI/UX, and product design. I also do a lot more than just write code. I like figuring out how the full system should work, how users will actually use it, and how everything connects together.
I’ve worked on projects ranging from full apps and websites to admin systems, authentication flows, rewards systems, community platforms, and internal tools.
I’ve also spent a lot of time around social apps and communities. I’ve helped with BeReal through community management, product feedback, beta testing, UI/UX feedback, and sharing things users actually want or have problems with.
I’ve also worked on community and documentation projects around apps like Lapse, where I focused more on understanding the product, organizing information, and making things easier for users to understand.
One thing I care about a lot is UI. I don’t really like building something that just “works.” I want it to actually feel good to use too. I spend a lot of time thinking about layouts, flows, small interactions, and how an app should feel instead of just throwing buttons on a screen.
I also like working on the backend side of things, especially with Cloudflare Workers, D1, APIs, authentication, databases, deployment, and system architecture.
A lot of the stuff I build starts because I find a problem and think, “I could probably make something for that.”
That’s basically how most of my projects happen.
